Every business should make it a priority to ensure all employees know how to act to in case of a fire emergency. At Metro Fire & Safety, we provide your staff with a dynamic, hands-on fire safety training course.
The OSHA Required Fire Training consists of 20-30 minutes classroom time, in which our fire safety instructor goes over several fire safety tips for your home, in your vehicle, and for the workplace, including how to properly respond, alert, contain, and extinguish a fire in the work place.
The classroom portion can be held either indoors or outside where the “live fire simulation” will take place. Following the classroom portion, every attendee will get hands on training and actually operate a fire extinguisher to extinguish a live fire outside.
30 participants max.
5 participants min.
*Course includes equipment and course completion certificate.
More details about the course:
We use CO2 type fire extinguishers for live burns because the CO2 evaporates leaving no mess or residue the clean up.
The total time for both portions last about 45 minutes to 1hr depending on the amount of attendee’s. All Attendee’s will receive a certificate of completion card and your coordinator will receive a Certificate of Completion plaque for your business.
Metro Fire Safety Training Course includes a classroom portion as well as a live burn where your employees have the opportunity to actually put out a live fire.
